For a long time the Works Team Red White and Blue TR8 / TR7V8 jackets have been unavailable. Now thanks to David Appleby Engineering who recreate “BRAND NEW” TR7V8 Rally cars We are pleased to say they are now available again!
These jackets are the same design as the ones in the British Airways picture above. They also have the correct MOTORSPORT logo which contrary to popular opinion, does not have the L for Leyland in the round logo. See official memo header below from 1980.
I personally find the sizes only just, so if you are between L and XL for example I would suggest you go for the larger size. As a rough guide XL fits to 44 chest, XXL fits to 48 chest, obviously we are all slightly different sizes but that should help in getting a jacket to fit right.
